Kendrick Lamar seems to have taken a subliminal shot at Big Sean in a new track called “The Heart Part 4” and seems to have taken a huge swing at Drizzy Drake as well. The line directed at Drake, which refers to Drizzy as ‘hoe’ has been analyzed quite nicely by our friends at Genius.com. From their annotation:
Hoe, Jay Z Hall of Fame, sit your punk ass down (sit yo' punk ass down)
― Kendrick Lamar – The Heart Part 4
The comparisons between Drake and Hov have been frequent over the years and Drizzy Drake referred to himself as the new ‘Jay’, but Kendrick is telling Drake to fall back. Kendrick also seems to have responded to the subliminal diss Big Sean took when he released ‘No More Interviews.’ From that song:
And I’m just not impressed by you niggas rapping fast
Who sound like one big asthma attack but trash when I’m rapping it back
Who you put in your top five and claim they the savior of rap

This seemed to have rubbed Kendrick the wrong way, with K. Dot responding to Sean Don with the following lines:
“My fans can’t wait for me to son ya punk ass and crush your whole lil shit
I’ll Big Pun ya punk ass, you a scared little bitch
Tiptoein’ around my name, nigga ya lame
And when I get at you homie don’t you just tell me you was just playin'”
Does Big Sean want to respond to K. Dot? Probably not. However, a Drake vs Kendrick beef without the subliminals would definitely be pretty interesting…
